Air Hydraulics hydraulic presses merge the reliability and performance of hydraulic power with the low cost required in today's competitive market. The standard press package can be enhanced with selections from the list of options to add to the versatility of the HP-545 presses.

Most components on the press are off-the-shelf items that have passed our rigid testing program. The use of these items means less reliance on factory produced parts when down time occurs.

The HP-545 presses allow the choice of four standard electrical control systems. If the control systems do not meet your needs, simply contact the factory with a complete description of your required modifications.

Control Systems
All hydraulic press models are available with your choice of four control packages. Each package offers two hand anti-tie down, guarded pushbuttons. The pushbuttons must be held depressed until the cycle has bee completed. The job feature requires two hand operation of the pushbuttons located on the electrical control panel.

Adjustable Distance Return (1)
With the pushbuttons held depressed, the ram extends to the depth selected by an adjustable limit switch. When the limit switch is made, the ram retracts.

Adjustable Pressure Return (2)
With the pushbuttons held depressed, the ram extends. As the cylinder begins to meet resistance, the pressure rises. When the set pressure is reached, the ram retracts. Since FORCE = PRESSURE x AREA, the tonnage can be adjusted up or down to meet your requirements.

Adjustable Pressure or Distance Return (3)
With the pushbuttons held depressed, the ram extends until either the limit switch or pressure setting is reached and then retracts. This circuit allows for full desired stroke but insures automatic retract if a premature jam-up occurs.

Adjustable Pressure and Distance Return (4)
With the pushbuttons held depressed, the ram extends until both the limit switch is made and the preset pressure is reached.
